As the current downturn in the residential housing market continues Swanson Group has turned their attention to their own internal infrastructure to create the necessary efficiencies needed today and focused on their core competencies and products to build a world class forest products company.
The cornerstone of the product mix, Swanson has improved recovery and efficiency at both the Noti and Glendale sawmills. With production heavy to 2x4 and 2x6 Swanson Group has invested in a new optimized program to make sure our length selection meets the most current needs of our customers.
From plywood concrete form panels to sign board panels to tongue and grooved sturdi-floor for residential and industrial applications Swanson Group has the right panel for your specific application. Major capital improvements to the Springfield mill underscore our commitment to the future of Doug Fir plywood.
With a new planner and improved dryers Swanson Group has again invested in our future. Kiln dried Hem-Fir, White-Fir and Doug Fir are our primary species along with cedar post and rail.
These products are all marketed as Swanson Group and all carry the appropriate grading agency stamp - APA for structural panels and WWPA for dimension and studs along with the SFI logo for certified fiber sourcing. All sales are handled through Swanson Group Sales Co, the sales and marketing division of Swanson Group Inc.
